My favouite book is "The Crusader" by Michael Eisner. Superb historical stuff. I'm also a big fun of the Patrick O'Brian Aubrey and Maturin Books.

I like travel diaries and natural history titles.

Cod by Mark Kurlansky is an excellent book.

Ianto thinks that any Kipper books are excellent though they do lose something in translation

What about Bond? I'm just rediscovering the great Ian Fleming in book form after enjoying the latest cinematic offering.

Ever since childhood my favourite book has been The Little Prince by Antoine De Saint-Exupery. It's a magical book and a true children's classic.

Definitley "the time traveller's wife" from last year's Richard & Judy list. Something really different.

Thanks for starting the bog, it's really good.

Thrillerlover thinks that Michael Connelly's new venture into court room drama is pacey, realistically cynical and a stonking good read whereas James Patterson's Mary , Mary was entertaining and light, excellent holiday fodder!
Ian Rankin pre Rebus in The Flood was an eye opener. The early Rankin depicting the changing face of industrial Scotland in the seventies and the devastation of community life with compassion and insight
